Main Duties

  1. Governing the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, developing a comprehensive preparation plan and forming organisation teams to execute plans to mark the nation’s 50th anniversary in 2021.
  2. Setting comprehensive mechanisms to coordinate Golden Jubilee celebrations activities on both federal and local government levels.
  3. Set plans to aggregate the global impact of UAE Golden Jubilee celebrations on the international arena.
  4. Involve UAE diplomatic missions in the preparations and execution of the Golden Jubilee celebrations to promote the country’s global image.
  5. Involve all segments of the society in the preparations for the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
  6. Involve the private sector in the preparation and execution of exceptional celebrations of the Golden Jubilee to strengthen its global outreach.
  7. Compile a record of the country’s achievements since the inception of the federation and preserving these records for future generations.
  8. Developing local and international media plans to share the 50-year journey of the UAE and invite regional and global media to take part in the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
